“THERE ARE POEMS INSIDE YOU THAT PAPER CAN’ T HANDLE.” -YZ
It’s time to let your outward style reflect your inner freedom and strength of self. If you love it, wear it. If it brings you joy, put it on. Don’t over think. Don’t over fuss. Let your fashion sense be informed by the world around you, the spirit inside you, and the people who inspire you. Now that’s style.

As a health coach and yoga/fitness instructor, Tammie Dalrymple’s heart is helping others find health in mind, body and spirit. She openly shares how yoga, prayer and practicing intentional gratitude have kept her grounded through tough situations, including walking a painful path with her teenage son, who has level 1 high-functioning autism and oppositional defiance disorder. “He struggled with social anxiety that led him to self-medicating with drugs. After he attended several therapeutic facilities, we made the selfless tough-love decision to send him to boarding school where he is now flourishing!” says Tammie. “As a family, we love wholeheartedly through the messiness, finding so much gratitude in the struggles. There’s always beauty, even in the shadows.” Follow @TammieDalrymple on IG.

When Laura Bowman McNeil was in kindergarten, she memorized flashcards of famous works of art, telling her mom she would be an artist one day. Never straying from that seedling dream, she’s now an established painter whose work shows in galleries from Blue Ridge to Tulsa. “I’ve always tried to follow the path that brings me the most joy and fulfillment,” she shares. Formerly a landscape painter, her subject matter took a dramatic turn when she came to her Christian faith. “Now, I paint things that touch my spirit and go beyond the surface,” she says. “I want my paintings to reflect God and the peace and hope I’ve found there.” For more on Laura, visit laurabowman.com.

To Amber Markay Byrd, all of life can be viewed through an artist’s lens. So, when she opened Markay Gallery on the Marietta Square in early 2017, her vision was to feature art in an “extreme variety” of forms. “We’ve taken a new approach to traditional gallery norms,” she explains. “Upon opening our doors, people see vignettes of home, where everything is artist-made. From the gallery desk down to the pen people use to sign our guestbook, everything here is a work of art. We want people to know that art can be sat upon, served from, eaten off of or sipped from,” she shares. “We’re hoping to redefine art by undefining it.” Visit markaygallery.com.
