Fitness For Busy Moms

Living Room WorkoutAs busy women, we crave fitness, but finding an effective, affordable, consistent, REALISTIC plan has proven elusive. We think you can likely relate. So, we are very excited to introduce you to Alison Marie, founder of Living Room Workout Club. This chicka’s gonna rock your world.

One day while in the shower, Alison Marie envisioned the concept of Living Room Workout Club – a fitness program for fellow busy moms that would combine practical nutrition, the most efficient and effective workouts, and behavioral psychology and accountability (addressing why most people fail at fitness) — all from your own living room.

As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Loss Specialist, Alison knows fitness … but after having her first baby, her lifestyle was anything but fit. “I was overwhelmed. As a personal trainer, I knew what needed to be done, but I didn’t know how to make it work with my life. I came home from work exhausted, and by the time I put my son to bed, I just sank down into the couch for the rest of the night,” she recalls. “I wish someone who had figured it out was by my side to help me.”

After that fateful shower, Alison started researching the best ways to achieve lasting fitness, efficiently. “I spent the next few months researching and regaining the strong physique and healthy lifestyle I had been missing,” she says. “I got so excited about helping other women do the same.”

Living Room Workout ClubThe Living Room Workout Club Difference

The difference between Alison’s unique approach and other fitness programs is that:

1) It can all be done from your own home in about 30 minutes per day.

and

2) Alison utilizes behavioral coaching “to help you find yourself and identify your strengths and weaknesses,” she says. “This is a whole lifestyle change, not just a video workout.”

How Living Room Workout Club Works

FIRST: Behavioral Coaching (AKA trashing your head trash).

Alison says behavioral coaching is the key to lasting change. First, she’ll guide you in goal setting, during which you dig down deep to find goals that are meaningful to you. “It’s not just ‘I want to lose weight because I feel like I should,’ but finding ‘the why’ that speaks to you,” she says.

Behavioral coaching also includes troubleshooting, figuring out what’s working and what’s not along the way. “We use your own strengths, weaknesses and internal motivators to tailor your program to you — so you love your new lifestyle,” says Alison.

Alexandra, one of Alison’s clients, says behavioral coaching makes all the difference: “I’ve learned a LOT about myself in the process: where I tend to lose focus, what my real strengths are, how to better prepare myself for [maintaining a fit lifestyle]. I feel such a change.”

SECOND: Fitness.

All programs include online and email coaching and accountability, daily workouts with a video, tips for maximizing your results, and access to Alison’s Facebook community support group. Workouts are typically designed to take 15 to 30 minutes. “I designed them to be done first-thing in the morning or during nap times. Hands down, these are the most effective workouts for your time,” says Alison.

THIRD: Nutrition.

Alison will guide you through grocery shopping, simple meal planning, and a foolproof, repeatable formula for eating right.

“I’ve never considered myself to be an active or in-shape person, and I’ve always dreaded exercise. I always failed at eating healthily. I embarked on the Mind, Body, Soul Challenge, and it changed my life,” says client Alison T. “At the start, the warm-up made me sweat and was very tough. Now, I start every single day with the warm-up, and it feels amazing. The two biggest payoffs: I FEEL better than I ever have, and I’m so impressed with how my body has transformed.”

“Alison’s stroller bootcamp has been the best fitness experience I’ve ever had,” says Samantha H., Stroller Boot Camp mom. “I love that the workouts are tailored specifically for moms, using strollers for balance and targeting tough ‘mom’ areas. After working with Alison for six months, I have more energy, muscle definition and endurance than I’ve had in years. I’m so glad I discovered her class!”

“You will experience weight loss and body change, but even more than that, you will experience a true change in your motivation and lifestyle,” says Alison. “This is sustainable fitness at its most efficient and effective.”
