If the most art you’ve seen all summer is chalk rainbows and flowers scrawled across the driveway, here’s a chance to quench your art-parched soul. The Marietta Square Art Walk is happening this Friday.
We. Are. Ready. (For the record, we’re not knocking rainbows and flowers, but a girl’s inner-art critic needs some variety every once in awhile.)
With local artists set up at almost every shop around the Square, demonstrating their craft and selling their original wares, it’s the best place to get your culture fix and enjoy a night out with friends. After grabbing dinner at one of the great restaurants on the Square, of course–and maybe a glass of wine … or two.
Check out local artists and take home some seriously cool new art for your home
Art talk + adult beverages = perfection
We love the talent and beauty that exudes from every artist
Perusing the eclectic array of boutiques, art galleries and museums and the gorgeous goods that spill out of the shops onto the sidewalks is the perfect refresher for the grown-up soul. And, because once is never enough, you can come back for this self-guided arts extravaganza every First Friday from now through November.
Fabulous art, amazing food, good company.
Adulting is so hard.
When: First Fridays from June to November, 5 to 9 p.m.
Where: Marietta Square (parking decks are FREE after 5 p.m.)
