Our Mom of the Year Search was recently concluded, and we were thrilled to announce Halaveshia Mosley as the grand-prize winner. We also had two close runner-ups: Carol Jackson and Kay Fellers. When we shared the story of our two runner-ups with Britteny and Melanie Thurmon (the awesome mother-daughter duo that owns Medalyn Salon and Medspa in Kennesaw), they stepped forward to award Carol and Kay with 60-minute Swedish massages at Medalyn. We just had to give this double shout-out: both to Carol and Kay…and to Medalyn, for being a salon with a big HEART for our community.
