Nothing’s worse than checking your smile in your rear-view mirror after an hour of schmoozing, only to realize you sported a lipstick streak across your top incisor the whole time. Lovely.
Try this insider tip to keep your color (and gloss) in place:
Use a lip liner to fill in your entire lip– not just the border. Then, forgo the lipstick altogether. Instead, cover the liner with gloss. Voilá! A beautiful glossy smile with white teeth to boot.
A lip liner that works great for this tip is Trish McEvoy Essential Pencil in Model’s Choice (which can also be used to lend a little cheek color!). Available at fine department stores for around $22.

Awesome tip! I’m not a huge fan of lipstick because of this exact reason. Can’t wait to try it…now off to Sephora.com : )
I need to order that liner!
I had to come back and comment because I read this a bit ago and tried it. It actually worked! Thanks so much for sharing!
Great tip… I’ll have to try that.
